Please get tired

Austin has decided that he no longer needs to sleep. Oh sure, ocassionally he'll put his head down and close his eyes...probably because he is tired of looking at a saggy-eyed parent (who at this point is covered in beans and rice and yogurt).....but his eye closing doesn't last for more than five seconds or so.

Last night our little man woke up at almost exactly 2:41 am. He was wide awake, laughing and pulling my hair. When he started slapping David, who had just got to bed after studying all night, I became resigned to the idea that somebody had to get up and play with Austin. I asked the cats, but they wouldn't do it. Stupid cats.

As of ten minutes ago, Austin finally went down for a nap. Please let there be no phone calls or doorbells.
