On our way to daycare yesterday, I decided to stop and take a picture. It was a beautiful day and I was feeling sad that I had to leave Austin to go work in the cheese-mines. Judging by the look on my son's face in this picture, I think he was busy scanning the horizon for birdies, bunnies, kitties or doggies. He at this point had no idea that he was on his way to daycare, which was good because nobody likes to look at a picture of a crying baby.

Henry is having his birthday party over at his Dad's house today and neither David nor I can go, which makes me feel so bad. Last year we couldn't go because David was working and Austin had just been born. Now this year David is still working and I am working, too...or will be in a few hours. Such is the life. Happy Birthday Hen-ro! I hope you get a thousand of your favorite toys and I also hope that there is no "pinata incident" like two years ago. At the very least, I hope nobody gets hurt. And that the cake is chocolate.
