I have a dream and it is a simple one. I would like to wake up one morning at a reasonable hour to a clean room, which to me at this point just means a room with no dirty diapers on the floor. When we all woke up and scratched our heads and yawned, all three of us would be wearing nicely made, cotton pajamas with stylish yet somehow slightly old fashioned looks. I know I know, the next thing I am gonna want is our own toaster and a two car garage, obviously I am losing my gritty urban edge. But you should see how raggedy we look in the morning.

Austin has 2 pairs of pajamas he wears right now, and they are cute. But David and I, well that's another story. David doesn't sleep in much, which is fine except for the fact that when he gets up he wraps a very off white towel around his waist and goes about whatever he is doing as if he is wearing the most normal pair of pants ever. I am pretty sure that some time in the next two weeks, with his distraction factor being so high right now, David is going to walk right out the front door in his dirty towel and head down the street with no idea. Just no idea at all.

What do I sleep in? Whatever the hell I have on when I pass out. I can't bring myself to open some creaky drawer and wake up my son, so instead I sleep in a t-shirt that smells like cheese. Do you now understand where my simple dream comes from? I have another dream about shaving my legs and wearing a skirt, but that is just so unreasonable right now that I am laughing while I type.

I am wondering about the weather in SF... I thought it was usually cloudy and damp. But every pic of Austin is on a clear day... How can this be?
