Hello? Is anybody still out there? Even if it's just that bunch of dentists on vacation that seemed to be real focused on that one post I wrote about a root canal, theoretically that would be better than nobody, no?

Our little Choogler is now more of a toddler, he's almost 2 if you can believe it. He says "No!" and "No Cats!" and "Very Very Pretty" when he is looking at some cat poop. Capers are also "Very very Pretty". I can't tell you why he finds these particular things pretty, but he does.

Today is my last day of being sick. People, all of us in the Choogler household were so sick that you would not be able to believe it. I spent the last 2 and 1/2 days sitting on the couch watching the same Seasame Street DVD over and over with a tiny little person who had a big suffed up nose leaning on me and dripping snot while I could barely manage to wheeze half a breath every five minutes or so. Every once and a while David and I would switch positions and I would try to lie down in bed to wheeze in solitude while David propped Austin up on the couch with his own disease riddled body. After drinking a lot of stinky chinese herbs David and I managed to shake off most of the illness. I still can't go from the bathroom to the kitchen without becoming short of breath. And in my house, that's only four mother-may-I style baby steps at the most. Or maybe two toddler-style jumps. Yes, Austin can jump now. And he does. Even when he's sick. He jumps. And jumps.
