1. Free and heavily discounted clothes from Mixed Use, a clothing store that is closing down as I type this, so don't try to go there.
2. Acupuncture from David. I know, I am his worst patient. I complain, wiggle and sometimes even cry or yell. But it helps me to feel better. And keep me out of the very exspensive hospital.
3. Austin's preschool at our Neighborhood Community Center. We get practially free tuition, lovely teachers, especially the guy ones, because they really seem to remember what it's like to be a small violent animal trapped in a 3 year old's body.
4. My two out of state trips... Penland where I visited my sister and Vermont where Austin and I visited some Ayershire Cows.
5. A particularly fine dinner at Cafe Jacqueline in my neighborhood.
6. David's Graduation from School!!!!!!!! Now he can work.
7. Coffee. A particularly good year for a caffeine addiction.
8. Kombucha. I finally gave in to the craze. David is of course making his own in a dark corner of the pantry.
9. Raw Milk. Austin seemed old enough for it so we tried it this year, and let me tell you, this stuff is tasty!
10. Lovely people I know. No matter how cranky I am, nice people still seem to surround me wherever I go. One of the perks of living on the slightly less uptight Left Coast, I suppose.
Next up, a list of things I want to at least attempt to do next year. ackk.
