The best part of my day happened when I was stacking..something, I don't quite remember what, and out of the very tiniest corner of my eye I spotted David's beard. Fortunately the rest of David was attached to that beard and Austin was close by, sitting in the shopping cart looking at the parade of people and commodity items flowing past him. We got to have lunch together which was wonderful for many different reasons, the most interesting one to Austin being that I got to nurse him, which he still loves very much.
David and Austin went to Berkeley before they stopped in at my place of employment. They went to some place called Habitot, and I wouldn't know anything about it because I am a working mom and leave these things to the stay at home dad. That previous sentence is not meant to sound bitter or overly smart, but I would say that the bottle of beer I am currently drinking fueled the formation of the thought. It is going to help me start our taxes. Yes. Taxes.
Austin no longer has that big honking pimple on his face, if you are wondering what on God's sweet earth that thing is just next to his nose.

I just thought it was a Cindy Crawford-esque birthmark... or a sad attempt at creating one.
