David and I are both sitting in the same room, typing and clicking on our computers but not looking or talking to each other. I hate this. This, my friends and relatives is the dream come true for media moguls or who ever it is that makes money off of people looking at the internet while they chew their nails or scratch their head but don't talk to the other people in the room. As soon as I finish this post, I swear to you, the Internet People, that I will put down the computer, stop cracking my toes and make David stop chewing his nails and we will talk to each other, like they did in the olden times when people had to sit on the couch and watch T.V. from the same tube.

Austin woke up late and went to bed early, a situation that leads me to believe that the upstairs neighbors must be pumping low levels of sleeping gas into our apartment..with the hope that Austin will stop running up and down the length of our little home, (which is about the size of a large storage locker...with windows and a fake fireplace) pushing his yellow truck in front of him as he yells, "Car! Car!".

If that's what they did, it worked as he is out like a light..that is turned off...and it's only eight-ish out here on the West Coast. It may have been boredom that put him in the mood to snooze, as we have been having really really big rainstorms today. The rain was so huge that Austin didn't get to play outside at all and I think that bums him out. No birdies or doggies or "keys", which I have been interpeting to mean other kids....just his whore and the cats to terrorize.
