Well, we made it. It's a new year and all five of us (including the cats) are healthy, happy and generally clean enough to go out for coffee without being too embarassed about how we look or smell. Although in the smelling department I would say that the cats are doing worse than the rest of us. Since they, as far as I know, can't type, I will reveal their New Year's Resolution, which is to clean the litter box more often and not wait around for me to do it. Yes. I agree with you, they are aiming high, especially for cats, but I am trying to be encouraging rather than off-putting.

Austin's New Year's Resolutions are to socialize healthcare and to decrease the number of cars on the road here in the Bay Area. Again, these are ambitious, but if he won't do it, who will?

As for David, I figure if he wanted to share some resolutions with you, he could send out a card or start his own blog. So I will leave that up to him. For me, let's see, what do I want to accomplish in the next 52 weeks? Well, I want to get paid more, work less and have a cleaner house with more interesting art on the walls. I would love to actually show up to work on-time more than one day in a row. I would like to finish knitting David his Christmas scarf before the cold summer season sets in. I would like to find time to protest this unholy war we are waging in that other part of the world and I would like to start wearing matching socks more than once a week. For those of you who know me, you will realize that the one about the matching socks will either kill me or make me stronger. Happy 2006!
