This is perhaps not the best time to talk about anti-pest spraying in San Francisco, as we are overcome with protesters at the moment....and perhaps spraying for "pests" does not seem like such a bad thing to certain segments of our population.

But if you would all take a big breath, shake your fist at China (Don't worry, no one in China will see you as all information flowing over there will be censored) and then calm down a bit, you will realize that it is pure stupidity to spray huge metropolitan regions with untested AND unlabeled chemicals, I don't care how threatening the Light Brown Apple Moth is. How scary can a "Light Brown" insect be? Light Brown bunnies are not scary, neither are light brown puppies. Light brown cougars, I admit are a bit scary.

Enough said. I lived through the Gypsy Moth Catepillar Plague of the Eighties. We can deal with the moths.
